Wellness Starts Within

Smart Living

I like going out to the mall or to different shops whenever I get the chance. My reason is to browse aka "window shop" so if by then I want a particular thing for a particular price, I know exactly where to go...I love to shop and to dress up nice but I'm also frugal and wise with spending.I don't go and buy high end products although they may spell "quality" most of the times but I like to have "more" than a "few" pieces that are of great quality. ( I mean, if I have all the money in this world, why not huh???? ) ;-)... Nevertheless , I also know how to make ends meet,.. so it all works!!!! :-) I remember my son saying this one day --- " Mom I don't like going out with you cause you keep on looking and not buying a thing... Lol.. Thinking about that makes me laugh... Of course whenever I'm out, I don't usually buy all the time. But when I get the chance, I go on a panic buying spree...:-D
Our family's favorite "budget /smart " stores to go for all things we need for our place includes Target and Walmart..... We love these stores especially now that they added that section where there's a wide and vast array of  frozen foods and  groceries....On top of that, I especially like a few health food stores for some healthy variations to our lifestyle. For one I love Sprouts (who finally teamed up with Henrys) and secondly, I adore Trader Joe's.... They have great prices especially when you sign up for their newsletters and get some good deals with it too... If I want food or things that are simply unique and  authentic of its kind, I head to World Market .... or to a lesser degree.... Big Lots . :-) But of course, there's also those old time favorites like the everlasting IKEA and COSTCO that we haven't visited in sooooo long.
For other free events or activities, I rely on the local magazine or checking out local listings online.. We also do appreciate and value the power of "coupons"!!!!!! We love them :-)..... We do subscribe to Local Living  and Groupon .......

So there it is ya all !!!!!....Happy living and aim to be smarter each time...

Favorite quote for this type of living???? Used to be " Live within your means" but now its " Live below your means" --- in that way, you still have enough to save up for emergencies.... ( its hard but we are trying to live by this rule..) ^l^
